Wow! What a great coffee this crop is! It was described to me as tasting like a “chocolate covered lemon peel”, and I have to agree. The smooth and heavy mouthfeel reminds of Dove dark chocolate. This is a coffee that deserves a first or second look.
The heat wave continues in the Flathead Valley in Northwest Montana, and the best drinks are cold water and iced coffee.
My choice today is House Blend Decaf from Fieldhead’s Coffee. I love it hot in the morning and iced in the afternoon.

What a divine cup of coffee with the bright lemon notes and nice body. I enjoyed this with a S’more for an afternoon treat.
